Teseo Handel 

7th - 17th April 2020, London

Following the success of the 2019 production of Alcina, Ensemble OrQuesta return to the John McIntosh Arts Centre in Fulham, London with another opera by Handel. 

The Academy will take place from the 7th - 17th April with two final showcase performances at 7pm on the 16th & 17th April.

Each Academy participant performs at least one performance of a role in the fully staged production of the opera, in original language, with the accompaniment of the Ensemble OrQuesta professional baroque ensemble and harpsichord. 

The Academy course is led by Ensemble OrQuesta founder Marcio da Silva, and early music specialist Stephanie Gurga. Professional stage photos are taken at the dress rehearsals.

Tuition fee: £700 (does not include accommodation)

Roles

Soprano: Teseo, Princess Agilea, Clizia, Medea
Mezzo-Soprano: King Egeo, Arcane
Bass / Baritone: Priest of Minerva
