Le Festival L'Eté au Verger is in its third year of organising high quality concerts in a unique venue in Veyrier, Switzerland. Originally begun in response to the constraints of the pandemic, audience enthusiasm has enabled it to thrive. The festival offers a dynamic programme of events in a wide variety of styles: classical, world and current music, performances and theatre. Stephanie Gurga and Cédric Meyer have local connections with the organising team, and Ensemble OrQuesta are delighted to have been invited to join the festival this year, offering a programme of Charpentier.

'Ensemble OrQuesta comprises professional musicians from several countries; it is dedicated to performing baroque operas. The ensemble reinterprets both well-known and lesser-known works to the highest of standards with creativity and imagination, reaching an increasingly wide audience.

Inspired by this unique setting, Ensemble OrQuesta offers a showcase festival concert created especially for L’Été au Verger, which centres on rustic and pastoral works.'
